Monarch represented at Lockheed Martin’s annual CodeQuest Competition! Three of Monarch’s CS classes were fortunate to be paired with amazing mentors from Lockheed Martin professionals throughout the Fall and Spring where they learned about careers in software engineering and received advice about best practices in coding, problems solving, and systems thinking. The mentorship experience culminated with students attending an on-site coding competition where they solve problems under time pressure.

The team of Avaneesh Gajula, Ben Niemet, and Jacob Kogler won 3rd place in the Novice Division.

The team of Grant Elliott, Viktor Gustafsson, and Henry Niemann won 2nd place in the Advanced Division

The competition was fierce with well over 20 teams competing. All students who compete have the opportunity to apply for an internship with Lockheed Martin.
