Monarch’s Computer Science students have participated in mentorships with professionals from Lockheed Martin over the past several years, and this year, we are fortunate to have virtual mentors for all three of our year-long courses! Mentors connect with the classes between four to six times virtually over the course of three months to help students explore what a career in Computer Science and adjacent fields can be like, some of the exciting aspects of the projects their work on, and how to prepare for the programming competition called CodeQuest that takes place at a Lockheed Martin site at the end of February. We are grateful to all three of our mentors and our Lockheed Martin liaison who make this opportunity possible.
