We just received news that Impact on Education has awarded the Computer Science department funds to support printing the second edition of MoHi Mindfulness Moments. For their first project, students in AP Computer Science A write programs in Java to generate designs that can be colored in. We then have BVSD’s print shop produce them in a book that is distributed to all of the high school Wellness Centers in BVSD along with some local K-8 libraries. The goal is to show students that even students at the beginning of their journey in Computer Science can have a meaningful impact on their community.
